Terms of use
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NoSetups.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before writing or running any code on the platform.
01Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using NoSetups.com, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Service.
02Description of the Service
NoSetups is a browser-based platform that lets users write, run, and preview code — including multi-page projects — without installing any software or configuring a local development environment.
No account required: NoSetups currently operates without user accounts or logins. Any code you write during a session is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, and no personal profile is created or stored on our end.
We may introduce new features, including optional accounts, at any time. Any such changes will be reflected in an updated version of these Terms.
03Eligibility & Acceptable Use
The Service is intended for general audiences, including both beginners and professional developers. By using NoSetups, you agree that you will not:
- Use the Service to write, host, or execute malicious code, including malware, viruses, or exploits.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our servers or infrastructure.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to abuse platform resources in a way that degrades service for other users.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service's underlying code-execution environment.
We reserve the right to restrict, throttle, or block access for any use that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or threatens the stability or security of the Service.
04User Content & Code
"User Content" means any code, text, or other material you create, write, or run using NoSetups.
- You retain ownership of any User Content you create. We do not claim ownership over the code you write.
- You are solely responsible for the User Content you create and for ensuring it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
- Because the Service runs in your browser, we do not review, endorse, or take responsibility for the correctness, security, or legality of User Content.
- You must not upload or execute content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful to others through the Service.
05Intellectual Property
The NoSetups name, logo, interface design, and underlying platform technology are the property of NoSetups and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for your own User Content, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written permission.
06Advertising & Third-Party Partners
NoSetups.com is supported in part by advertising. We work with the following third-party partners to operate and improve the Service:
Google AdSense
Displays ads on the site and may use cookies to personalize ads and measure their performance.
Google Analytics
Collects aggregated, anonymized usage data to help us understand and improve the Service.
Google Search Console
Used on our end to monitor the site's presence and performance in Google Search.
By using NoSetups, you acknowledge that ads may be displayed on the Service and that Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Full details on the cookies used are available in our Cookie Policy.
07GDPR & CCPA Compliance
We are committed to respecting the data protection rights of our users, regardless of where they are located.
For users in the EEA / UK (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and the right to withdraw consent to non-essential cookies, including those used by Google AdSense and Google Analytics, at any time. Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent.
For California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (including via Google AdSense), and to request deletion of your data.
Exercising your rights: You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time via Google's Ads Settings, manage cookies through your browser, or contact us directly at binabdou89@gmail.com. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
08Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted, error-free operation.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, secure, or free of bugs, and we do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of any code execution results produced through the platform.
09Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoSetups and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.
10Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and without prior notice, for any user whose activity we reasonably believe violates these Terms or poses a risk to the Service or other users.
11Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, USA, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Note: This governing law clause applies regardless of the country you access the Service from. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence, including rights under the GDPR or CCPA described above.
12Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or business practices. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
